# PFP Template

> The **PFP Template** is a curated, continuously updated list of profile pictures commonly used by scammers — maintained by the Hashbot team.

Unlike manually uploaded PFP filters, the template is **centrally managed** and can be applied to your server in just a few clicks.

### How It Works

* The template functions like a **subscription list**: you can opt in, review its contents, and apply selected images.
* New scam PFPs are regularly added by the Hashbot team.
* You can apply updates manually or enable **auto-checks** using the **Toggle Filter Updates** option.
* Use the `/template pfp` command to see how many templates are active out of the total available, with a link to the [Hashbot Dashboard](https://dashboard.hashbot.com) for full management.

### Managing Templates

Running `/template pfp` in Discord now shows the **active/total template count** and a link to the Dashboard. To browse, select, and apply individual template filters, visit [dashboard.hashbot.com](https://dashboard.hashbot.com).

### Optional: Toggle Filter Updates

You can enable automatic updates to:

* Check new template entries against your server as they’re added
* Reduce manual upkeep
* Ensure your protection evolves as new scam images emerge

### Best Practices

* Combine template filters with **your team avatars or logos**
* Revisit the template periodically to stay current
* Run `/pfp-filters cleanse` after applying new filters to catch existing threats
